A Feast of laughter so rich in human foibles that you will savor every morsel. The Pope is scheduled to appear at Shea Stadium, “ARTIE,” the would-be song writer, Bananas, his loony tunes wife, “Bunny,” the girlfriend who seduces with her exotic cooking ability, and three nuns perched on the roof hoping to see the Pope’s motorcade. Their lives spill over with comic complications that cook this comedy to a boiling point and end it with an eruption that will make you gasp.
